FANG Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of users of "Promptan" (the "App") and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled within the App.

1. Information We Handle

The App handles the following types of information:

• User-Created Content: Text, images, and other data you create or enter within the App. This data is stored only on your device and in your iCloud account (if enabled).
• AI-Generated Content: Text, images, and audio generated through the App's AI features. Like user-created content, this data is stored only on your device and in your iCloud account (if enabled).
• API Keys: Third-party service API keys (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, DeepL, etc.) that you optionally enter. These are stored only on your device.
• App Settings: Display preferences, language settings, speech settings, and other in-app configuration data.

2. How We Use Information

Information is used solely for the following purposes:

• Providing App functionality (text editing, translation, text-to-speech, AI generation features, etc.)
• Syncing data across your devices via iCloud
• Communicating with third-party services using API keys you have configured

3. Third-Party Services

Based on your actions, the App may communicate with the following third-party services. All communication occurs directly between your device and the service provider; we do not see, store, or mediate this traffic.

On-Device Processing (no data leaves your device):

• Apple Translate: On-device translation processing
• Google ML Kit: On-device translation and language identification

Data Synchronization:

• Apple iCloud: Data synchronization across your devices (subject to Apple's Privacy Policy)

AI Text Generation and Translation (requires your API key):

• OpenAI API (ChatGPT)
• Anthropic API (Claude)
• xAI API (Grok)
• Google Gemini API
• Google Translate API
• DeepL API

AI Image Generation (requires your API key):

• OpenAI DALL-E
• Google Imagen
• xAI Grok (Aurora)
• fal.ai (FLUX)

AI Voice Synthesis (requires your API key):

• Google Gemini TTS

Data is transmitted to these third-party services only when you explicitly use the corresponding features and only at the moment of use. For information about how each service handles your data, please refer to their respective privacy policies.

4. AI-Generated Content

The App provides AI-powered generation features for text, images, and voice. Please be aware of the following:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or otherwise unsuitable for certain contexts. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before use or publication.
• We do not retain your prompts or generated content on our servers. Prompts are sent only to the AI provider you have configured, and only when you explicitly invoke the feature.
• Usage restrictions (including prohibited content such as illegal material, content depicting minors in inappropriate contexts, unauthorized likeness of real persons, and material that infringes intellectual property) are detailed in the in-app Terms of Use displayed before first use of generative features.
• If you encounter AI-generated content within the App that you believe is inappropriate or violates our guidelines, you can report it using the in-app "Report" function, which composes an email to support@fang.co.jp. We aim to review all reports within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Data Storage and Management

• Your content data is stored only in local storage on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
• We do not store or collect your data on our servers.
• Deleting the App removes all data from your device. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.

6. Analytics and Tracking

The App does not use any proprietary analytics or tracking tools. We do not collect data to track or analyze user behavior.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data on our servers, most privacy rights (access, deletion, portability) are fulfilled directly by managing data on your device and in your iCloud account. In addition, depending on your location you may have the following rights:

• EU / EEA / UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Because the App includes generative AI features such as image generation, it is intended for users aged 18 and older, consistent with its App Store age rating.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. For significant changes, we may notify you within the App.
